ESCRIPTION:
Very nice tall (18") vintage/antique doll
, with ceramic Head/Bust & forearms. Head is in beautiful condition. Face is finely done, as shown, and in wonderful condition.
Joints bend as shown at elbows, shoulders, hips, and knees. Sections of muslin body is finely sewn, and all joints are in excellent condition, just as made. Comes with black socks and patent leather shoes (not sure if original or more recent replacement).
Scans show it all in detail with bill to indicate approximate size.
All is in very good condition with no damage or chips to the porcelain.
I have no clue as to age, but I believe it is vintage antique. It certainly has that appearance in look and construction. It was bought at an antiques auction.
Would look great in period clothes and will make a really nice display piece. It has a really nice
period look and lots of eye appeal!!
A great and unusual surprise as a gift for the collector in the family.
