Original WWI French Adrian Helmet - Casque Adrian. A very nice M1915 French Adrian helmet. First model with riveted joint between visor and neck guard pieces. Some paint loss, denting, and rust, See photos. Appears to have original paint and shows no evidence of having been repainted. Chin strap intact and flexible. Seven lobed liner is complete but about 6 inches of the leather suspension has separated from he wool lining. Liner shows a good amount of use. The maker's stamp is that of
La Compagnie Coloniale
and the size stamp of C1. A perfect display example of a 100 year old helmet. Again, see photos.
