Yet another interesting WWI piece I picked up years ago when I was living in France. I collect primarily medical theme toy soldiers but tended to have a secondary collection of WWI items.
This is a finely crafted plaster / porcelain (?) ornament measuring approx. 3 1/4 inches tall and represent a beautiful bust of a French lady obviously meant to commemorate the three main allies of France , USA, and Great Britain.
The wonderful red headdress is made of crepe paper and is adorned with the British flag. As a headscarf, the French woman has the American flag.
I will point out a crack across the neck of the Mademoiselle but this still remains an amazing piece that I have never seen before.
I expect you to look closely at all photos and please ask any questions that you may have, preferably before you bid. I am an honest eBay seller but not an expert in anything and would expect any interested buyer to do his/her due diligence research if one feels it is indicated.
