WWI French France Army Medical Officer Doctor's Military Inform Tunic Red Cross

Offered for auction is a very rare WWI or early French medical officer uniform tunic only. Fine black felt fabric with
burgundy
plush elements on collar and on
sleeves
. Gild brass buttons in two lines at front with snake and
terrestrial
globe insignia. Metallic gold thread embordered collar tabs with the same insignia wreath with snake and world globe. Interesting integrated shoulder boards with two metallic stripes, probably for Lieutenant rank. I'm not a specialist. The tunic is excellent preserved for its age. Very clean, need only minor ironing. One small hole on felt at right on chest front, insignificant but must be pointed. Original collar changeable insert is still presented. Originate from private collection in Lion. Excellent example over 100 years old.
Measures: 17'' on shoulders 30'' from the shoulder to the end. the sleeves: 24'' long
