This is an original WWI era advertising business card issued by the Barber Louis of Nancy, France offering “the Best American Shave”.   This card is printed one side only and measures about 4.75” x 2.75” or about 12 cm x 7 cm.   This card has crossed American and French flags and advertises Louis the Barber’s address as 90, Rue Stanislas in Nancy.   Louis touts himself as “Five Years Barber In U.S.” and offers Face Massage, Shampoo Tonic, Hot Towels and Shoes Shine.
This card is an original antique brought home by an American doughboy serving in France during WWI.  This card is in very good condition overall and has minor evidence of scrapbook mounting on the verso.  Email any questions.  Thanks for looking.
